Message from Executive Vice-President

Needless to say, it is a mission of our company to cater for the diverse needs of the civic life. Through the research and development of foaming technology, we offer and supply various products to the market, not to mention the automotive-related products. In particular, automotive industry today requires the development of products which focused on environment protection in addition to the conventional functions (i.e. waterproofing, soundproofing, sound absorption, vibration suppression). Therefore, we see such functions, suitable to the environment (i.e. recycled, non-contaminant to the environment and so on), as the keyword for the ongoing business growth and add such function to the existing product range so that the products with such added value will further expand the application and market, not only in the domestic but also throughout the global markets. We aim at realizing the company growth and increasing the corporate value through further developing such environmentally-fitted technology and applying such technology to the automotive products as well as general diversified industrial material.
For the global development of the automotive parts business, which is one of our main lines of business, we have incorporated Nishikawa Standard Company as an offshore production basis in North America (i.e. U.S.A.) in 1986. Since then, our offshore activities have been growing favorably in terms of business management. In recent years, we continue to add more pivotal offshore sites in the Asian region, namely Thailand and China by opening the manufacturing facilities there and such facilities are in favorable operation today.
Under such circumstances, when the company’s management envisions the future strategy of Nishikawa Rubber Company, Limited, it sees “human resources” as a major problem. To finding the solution for that, and in aiming at passing the unique technology from generation to generation, the company has already started on the development of human resources by forming an organizational unit known as “Human Development & Training Department”. The company also intends to further expanding human resource development in the areas of business management and engineering.
We commit to firmly hand over the technology, which has been cultivated through the history of company, and “Nishikawa-ism”, which serve the society, to the future generation and continue to advocate such business style.
We hope to be given your continued favor in our business activities.
